Tired of just a Point-N-Shoot camera? Needing a good entry to mid level DSLR camera that you may grow with for years to come? I have found the Sony Alpha DSLR A-560 with 14.2 Megapixels fits the bill very nicely. With it is automati features, it’s as easy to use as a point-n-shoot camera, while you learn how to use all the particular features and settings from it is onboard aid menus. The A-560 camera will take around 550 photos with it is 3 inch LCD live display on, which likewise tilts 90 degrees up or down, on it is to the full or entire extent charged Litium battery pack, or with regards to 1000 photos if you are just using the viewfinder. In either case, that is a lot of photos on one battery charge.

One of the nicest features is the camera’s fast and ceaseless automati focus. It may scans up to fifteen points to provide quick and exact focusing. To heighten that automati focus you may set it to recognize faces for sharp clear group portraits. To improve on this distinctive face acknowledgement feature, it may likewise recognize smiles. So when there are various in a photo and there is just one in the group, who won’t smile when you want them to, you may turn the smile acknowledgement on and indicate which face to recognize. Then tell everyone to smile, and hold it, and when that one does smiles, the camera will recognize that person smile and will speedily take the picture.

Sony’s A-560 camera also has a Panorama Sweep mode which allows you to hold the Shutter Release Button down and pan from the Left to the Right to take a panorama picture. It’s great for taking pictures of huge groups or wide scenic pictures like the Grand Teton Mountain Range or parts of the Grand Canyon. This feature also doesn’t just take 2-D pictures, but it records discerned Left-Eye and Right Eye views which makes your picture come alive with full HD 3-D.

This camera likewise comes with an unbelievable Stable Shot feature. You recognise how so numerous of your point-n-shoot pictures come out blurred, even even though you know you and your subject did not move. It’s because so some people, not thinking, snap their shots. When you snap that shutter release button it jars the camera just as you’re taking the picture. Take your time and learn to squeeze that shutter release button. But to aid take out any of those jars, shakes or bumps, the A-560 camera has a Stable Shot program built into the camera’s processor to sharpen up galore of those somewhat blurred photos. Now, amid squeezing that shutter release button and the Stable Shot processor, you will get a great deal of more perfective photos.

Sony’s A-560 camera may likewise take fantasti High Definition (HD) Video clips. If you shoot your videos with the Stable Shot feature on and you have a steady hand, you ought to get outstanding videos with a little practice. With Stable Shot on, you may shoot video clips for in regards to 10 minute. Or if you have a very steady hand and shoot without Stable Shot, you may shoot for with regards to 24 minutes. With the onboard processor, processing closely 30 frames per second, it has a tendency to heat up. This is why there is a time limit on how long you may shoot video clips. Also, the automati focus is not available while shooting videos, so you will need to manually adjust the focus. This is genuinely rather easy, with your right hand on the camera grip and your left hand on the lens focus ring. That’s it. Then of course home movies just would not be home movies without sound, so the A-560 camera has two tiny Stereo Microphones mounted just in front of the flash hot-shoe. It likewise has a 3.5mm Stereo Microphone Jack which is provided for an external Stereo Microphone if needed.

An interesting side note; The Sony Alpha A-560 camera body’s lens mount is compatible with Minolta lenses. If you have used Minolta cameras in the past, you may use those lenses on the A-560 camera, as well as their filters. Or if you wish to buy another type of lens or filter for your Sony A-560 camera, you may buy an older Minolta lenses and filters at a much scaled down cost. Big Plus.

5Great camera for the enthusiast
By Angel
First off, I went for the A560 and not the A580 because I dont need that much megapixel plus I cannot justify the price of $150 more for the A580. It takes great pictures and has enough manual controls for the serious hobbyist. It does tend to lean towards overexposure when used with auto or P auto but a few minor adjustments like setting the EV value a bit downward will give you stunning exposures, but then its probably because I like my pictures with a bit more contrast under low light. It is also well known that the a560 shares the same sensor as the much more expensive Nikon D7000 which also has the same tendency to overexpose. Controlling noise under low light is second to none. Sony did put a great deal into controlling noise level under low light. Shooting at ISO3600 gives you almost undiscernible noise unless your a pixel peeper. I almost don’t use a flash in any photographic situation I’m in. Even if the sun is behind your subject, Sony’s DRO kicks in perfectly to give your subject’s face a perfect exposure without fill flash. Panoramic shots is also the best. It is almost flawless.

In conclusion, I would say if you are a casual photographer who wants to jump into the DSLR bandwagon, do not get this camera. You might get disappointed especially if you only use auto or P mode all the time. You are better off with the a390 with its CCD sensor. But if your a serious hobbyist, then you will be happy with this camera, just don’t limit yourself to letting the camera figure out your shots, if you know what I mean. Its the photographer that makes great shots and not the camera.
