| Offering an impressive collection of features at a nice price point, the Brunton Echo Compact binocular comes in handy whenever full-size binoculars are too huge or unwieldy. The lightweight 10x power binocular features a polymer frame that weighs a mere 14 ounces, along with ergonomic body armor that protects the frame from damage. The Echo’s high-clarity 25mm goal to be attained lenses, meanwhile, are made of BaK-4 prism glass and are shielded by an Emerald Fire full multi-coating. Add in Brunton’s twist-up eye relief system–which is both comfortable and eyeglass compatible–and a waterproof and fog-proof housing and you have a great binocular for almost any outdoor application.
Specifications range from a 325-foot field of view at 1,000 yards to a 12mm long eye relief to a 2.5mm exit pupil. The focus system, meanwhile, sharpens images as close as 12 feet. Additional features include a comfortable neck strap and a rugged carrying case.

 lightweight bino’s

I specifically wanted these for backyard birdwatching. They are light, focus easily, and are properly collimated. They have the feel of being well made. I think they are a fine choice for portable casual general use. They are of course limited for stargazing, but provide nice views of the milky way on a dark night.
I looked at Venus and it focused to a sharp disk, so the lenses are quality.
I give the item 5 stars for its class of binoculars. I have not drop tested them and hope not to do so.

Awesome Product

These binoculars have clear bright optics. They are perfect size for hunting and are very well made. They have excellent low light characteristics. Brunton makes fine quality optics. The rubber armor allows for quiet carrying, sure grip, and shock protection.
